Bardzo przegadana. Głównie skupia się na zaletach praktyki nad teorią. Teoria daje fałszywe poczucie pewności i naraża na ryzyko niespodziewanych zdarzeń (nazywanych czarnymi łabędziami). Autor wspiera swoją argumentację wymyślonymi przez siebie anegdotami oraz wyzwaniem niepodzielających jego opinii od frajerów lub radziecko-harwardzkich wyznawców kruchości i doprawia syndromem oblężonej twierdzy (skoro mnie krytykują, to znaczy że mam rację). Szkoda, bo jest tam wiele ciekawych spostrzeżeń, jednak gubią się w tłumie bredni.
With an interesting theoretical concept in mind, Taleb succeeds in my stopping reading this book after 50 pages. One doesn't have to disqualify main stream science, the president of the FED every page, end on end. Make your point, state your opinion in a grown up manner. Don't be a child and a bore. Bought it second hand. Goes into the waste-paper.
