I love to read and sometimes write. I'm active on fedi mostly as @tomasino@tilde.zone. I've been using Goodreads for the past bajillion years and will try to transition here. I run cosmic.voyage and a bunch of fun projects like @SolarpunkPrompts@podcast.tomasino.org

Packed full of adventure, character, humor, and frankly, just one damned thing after another! I see why the series is so popular.

This is a really fun sci-fi book with a really unique angle. The story was engaging and interesting, but it started getting listless about halfway through. There's a few plots pulling the story along, but they're not very connected. Things end abruptly without much resolution.

I'll read more in the series eventually.

It was a joy to read this. Andy and I shared a room in the Jesuit novitiate years ago and shared many, many evenings discussing our faith and prayer experiences. This book took me back to that little house once again.

Andy's stories come from his personal journey, but they speak to a broader experience of God that any of us can find. His earnestness and intimacy invite the reader to journey with him through both profound and mundane moments, and discover for themselves that the divine is everywhere.

Review for the audiobook:

The story is pretty good, but the author's reading made it very difficult to follow. He didn't pace himself well or allow for pauses for emphasis and understanding. I stopped listening after a couple hours. I think this book deserves to be read instead of listened to. It will likely result in higher ratings once I get the chance.
