I read this because I'm interested in the intersection between computing (as a human activity) and literature.
The stuff I liked:
- that each character had a personal color/font choice for her AIM messages
- that IMing is portrayed as a healthy social outlet
The stuff I didn't like:
most other stuff. Without details like what the characters are doing on their computers it becomes a book of all dialogue which ended up being less compelling than I expected. The plot situations were pretty contrived/PSA but I guess that's just part of the YA genre?
