This book barely made any sense. The endings were all let downs that undermined the value of our choices throughout. So far, one of the worst CYOAs I've read.

This is what a zombie book should be. There's real depth to every character, even the ones that grunt like animals. This was made into a film which was also decent but didn't capture the same depth of inner turmoil. If you're not a zombie book fan this may still appeal to you. It reads much more like a dystopian, end-of-the-world, psychological thriller than horror.

Tomasino reviewed On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder
Review of 'On Tyranny' on 'Goodreads'
3 stars
There are excellent parallels to modern issues within these pages, but very little organizing principle. It begins as a warning on general terms and then quickly focuses on the American presidency. Overall the sentiment is good and the read is quick but there's not enough substance to my tastes.

Tomasino reviewed The Circle by Dave Eggers (Lijsters)
Review of 'The Circle' on 'Goodreads'
2 stars
I had to stop reading at 39%. I'm viscerally reacting to it and the gross privacy issues it raises. It's more stressful than a horror suspense and I can't deal. Absolutely nothing has happened in the book so far. The world building of the Circle and what it represents is horrific. Nope. Can't do another page.
